Patriot Game Donation
The 13th Annual TC Patriot Game took place on Friday, October 25, 2024 at Thirlby Field. Each year, Student Senate members from both schools determine a beneficiary for the event. This year, the TC West Titans and TC Central Trojans combined forces and raised over $17,000.00. Proceeds will support Reining Liberty Ranch and Peace Ranch.

Gun Safety Resolution
TCAPS Board of Education would like to remind families of the BE SMART Gun Safety Resolution, adopted during the regular meeting on November 14, 2022. The resolution focuses on the importance of gun safety and firearm storage. Read the full resolution.

Students and staff shined with kindness and adorned with Indigenous bling to celebrate Native American Heritage Month and International Kindness Day.
|
Students at Central High participated in the Arrive Alive Tour, a distracted driving awareness activity. Students had the opportunity to use a driving simulator, discovering firsthand how distractions like cell phones or driving impaired can result in accidents.

Students at Silver Lake Elementary showed their appreciation for Deputy Jessica Core while engaging in a Lockdown Drill Assembly.

Long Lake Elementary honored Veterans during its Veterans Day Program. Veterans and active duty members from all service branches were invited to attend. This was a special event for students, staff, and the community.

Student Support Network (SSN)
The Student Support Network (SSN) is a program administered by Traverse City Area Public Schools that provides free supportive, educational-related services and non-academic support to help overcome obstacles that may create barriers to learning.
